We help students prepare for the reading, writing, and essay portions of the ISEE, SSAT, SAT, and ACT. By working on actual essay test prompts, students not only practice their composition skills but also learn vocabulary words and comprehension strategies.  

• Essay Writing - Students read essay models, practice timed essays and receive timely feedback on their writing.
• Vocabulary - Students use five to ten new words in each practice essay. Utilizing vocabulary (rather than memorizing lists) can improve word retention.
• Reading Comprehension - Students study the focus, structure, and organization of different essay models. Determining composition patterns and asking relevant questions can improve text comprehension.
