Make-Up Classes
Each student gets 1 make-up class a month. Fill out this Make-Up Class Form at least 3 days before your child’s absence. We don’t do retroactive make-up classes. Once a make-up class has been scheduled, it cannot be re-scheduled. We don’t do make-up classes for scheduled holidays (click here to view our calendar).

If a make-up class is unavailable, we will email you the lesson and assignment for your child to do at home.

For Summer: Unfortunately, we don’t offer make-ups for our summer sessions.

Schedule Changes
You may change your class schedule by filling out this Schedule Change Form. If your desired class is available, we’ll be happy to make the change.

For Summer: You must request a schedule change at least 1 week before the first day of your originally scheduled week.

Enrollment Changes
To resume, pause, or cancel your current enrollment, fill out this Enrollment Change Form before the end of the month. Requests made after the end of the month will take effect on the following month.

For Summer: Pauses and Cancellations do not apply.

Credits and Refunds
Unfortunately, we do not give any credits or refunds for partially used months, unused classes, or summer sessions.

Billing
Your credit card will be automatically charged on the first day of every month. To make any changes to your billing information, please follow these instructions.

Materials
Your child will need a computer or device that can run Zoom and Google Drive. They will be typing essays on Google Documents (younger students may use a pencil and write on binder paper).

Homework
We expect our students to do light homework to complete the writing process and reinforce class learning.

  • For 5th to 9th grade students, expect around 20-30 minutes of editing and typing homework after each class.
  • For 1st to 4th grade students, expect around 15 minutes of editing homework after each class.

Evaluation
We constantly evaluate our students by providing them with written and verbal feedback about their writing. Instead of attaching percentages or letter grades to their work, we share constructive criticism during our classes and on their writing. If you have any questions about your child’s performance, feel free to contact us at any time.
