My daughter wanted more practice with writing, utilizing different styles and voices. She looked forward to Chino’s weekly, fun writing assignments, and she loved brainstorming ideas for narratives and persuasive pieces. Chino challenges the students to write concisely and to use interesting vocabulary. His weekly feedback has been constructive in helping my daughter hone her writing skills. She enjoyed working with Chino, a supportive and patient teacher, who is truly interested in helping students become stronger writers. I look forward to signing up my daughter for Chino’s high school writing classes in the future.
