Our mission is to teach students how to write independently and create originally at a high level without the use of artificial intelligence.

We champion original and creative thought.

Technology will never be a substitute for human imagination and creativity. We recognize that the true human voice comes from meaningful personal writing.

We value the writing process – especially the struggle.

Challenges are crucial to improvement, and reliance on AI takes away learning opportunities. We teach our writers how to overcome obstacles independently.

We use technology only as a tool and not a crutch.

Assistance from online grammar checkers and search engines are acceptable. However, we forbid the use of AI that generates any form of student writing.

We practice digital responsibility.

We expect our writers to be ethical citizens of the digital age. We teach them how to find reputable sources, avoid plagiarism, and write with academic integrity.

Our Results

Building stronger, not just longer, essays.

In just 6 months, our students’ essays demonstrated:

  • 39.08% increase in sentences per essay
  • 40.96% increase in breadth of details
  • 30.87% decrease in sentence errors
  • Improvement from 285.78 to 409.61 words per essay.
  • Fewer simple sentences in favor of diverse sentence structures.
